Dears
The life in our valley appears difficult now a days. As ISRO-GBP work, the instruments available at GB pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development helped us to monitor air in Kullu with CPC and results were surprising.............

He  was  born in Rahtar area of Hurla Thrass to a Land tax collector Pandit Tara Chand of Rot area during British times . But unfortunately his father died when he was merely 4 years of age. He was left with a elder brother and four sisters. The family was brought up by their maternal uncle. His elder brother became first sarpanch of area in 1947. He was a true Gandhian and took part in Gandhi ji's various activities along with Dile ram Shabab in this part of area. He made self studies at home and also took guidance of Jyotish and study of vedas from Pandit Devidyalu of lahore. He was instrumental in establishing the drugless society in the area and a vehement sporter of spread of education and vociferous opposer of slougheting of animals at Dev smagams. He was first unopposed sarpanch of area after his brother's demise. He worked tooth and nail to make his sons study and it was due to his efforts that his five sons became all class one officres. Eldest son was ETO, next son is  SDO(PWD) thereafter is SDM, next one is college professor and youngest one is district atorney. It was all due to his untiring efforts that he donated land for school, dispensary and anganwadis in his paternal area in Kotla (Seraj). We are all indebted to his unending efforts to take the side of truth and unblemished life.

People of Kochi won our hearts.......Really decent, truthful and simple but highly intellectuals

Recently I have been to CUSAT(Cochin University of Science and Technology) for a conference on Climate change (see images). The people there were really good natured, helpful and God fearing. the land of churches and Idli sambhar we really miss....... We presented a paper on AEROSOLS characteristics in Kullu-Manali area. Our area is being eroded by rackless and unplanned tourism. we need to learn from environment friendly approach of Kerala Tourism.
